Children's Mobile Crisis Response and Stabilization Specialist Appalachian Community Health Center has a full-time
position available for a Children's Mobile Crisis Response and Stabilization
Specialist. This position
provides direct services to children, youth and young adults, aged 0-21,
experiencing emotional and/or behavioral health crises.
The goal of this position is to provide supports and skills necessary
to return youths and their families to routine functioning and maintain
children in their homes or current living arrangements, schools and
communities, whenever possible. ACHC
covers a four-county area including Randolph, Upshur, Barbour and Tucker
counties. This position is based
in the Randolph office with travel to the other counties required, as
needed. This position includes
regular office hours as well as on-call rotation.
Position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in

requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a human services field, though
non-traditional bachelor degrees may be considered.
Service Coordination is an excellent opportunity to gain vital
experience in the mental health field. A Service Coordinator provides services such as
linking, referrals, advocacy, and participating in the treatment plan
process to consumers of all ages with mental and behavioral health needs.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with and learn from
other staff at various levels to ensure the Center’s clients’ needs are
being met with consistency and compassion.

Street, Elkins WV 26241 July 2025 ---- IDDW Case Manager Appalachian Community Health Center is recruting for an IDDW Case Manager (CM). The position is a full-time position,
40 hour work week, Monday through Friday. Accrual of annual, sick leave benefits after first month of work.
CM will assist and enable individuals/participant with cognitive and or developmental
disabilities to remain in the least resstrictive environment while maintaining the greatest
amount of independence and human dignity. IDDW Case Manager assists the
participant with access to and coordination of home and communithy-based services to
enable the individual to receive services in a planned, coordinated, efficient and
effecive manner. CM will promote and support the participants preferences, values, and
the right to self-determination. The CM evaluates ongoing services as well as members
response to treatment/services plans.
*The Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, in a human
Services field such as Psychology, Social Work, Education, Nursing or related.
