Adult Care Worker

Appalachian Community Health Center is recruiting for a part-time, non-benefitted Adult Care Worker to provide services to intellectually disabled adults in the Center's I/DD Waiver Program. This position covers the Life Skills day habilitation services in Elkins. The position requires a high school diploma or GED; valid driver's or Class D license as required; ability to provide support and assistance to clients in an empathic manner; ability to accurately document activities; and ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Clinician

Position requires a master's degree in a human services field; professional licensure as appropriate; must have a working knowledge of therapeutic techniques and interventions. Travel is required. Position will provide services primarily to adults and young adults including working in a college setting. Services will be provided in Upshur, Barbour and Randolph counties.
